Acrylic Repair™ White Fixture Repair Kit uses an advanced self-curing acrylic technology to repair chips, cracks and scratches on white porcelain, fiberglass and bathtubs, sinks, toilets, spas, major appliances and tile.
The white acrylic repair paste matches most manufacturers’ white plumbing fixtures and contains enough material for up to 5 repairs.
Acrylic Repair™ outperforms all other available solutions (i.e. epoxies, resins) and virtually all repairs can be completed in less than one hour.

Prepare the Damaged Surface for Repair
1. Tape off damaged area with masking tape.
2. Lightly sand the damaged area.
3. Clean the damaged area to remove any dust or loose material. Acetone or alcohol (purchased separately) are preferred cleaning agents. Use appropriate gloves and eye protection (purchased separately). Surface must be completely dry and dust free before applying acrylic repair material.
Mix the Acrylic Repair™ Material
4. Dispense equal amounts of acrylic paste from both syringes onto a piece of cardboard and mix together using mixing sticks (provided).
Apply Acrylic Repair™ Material
5. With mixing stick, apply sufficient acrylic repair material to completely fill damaged area. Do not overfill, as this will create additional sanding and time to complete repair. Do not allow air bubbles to form in acrylic repair material. If bubbles do appear, stir acrylic repair material with mixing sticks until bubbles disappear.
|
|
Cure the Repair Area
6. Let acrylic repair material cure (harden) for 30 minutes or until surface is completely hardened. It is normal for some sticky residue to remain on the surface after the curing process is complete.
7. The sticky residue should be removed with acetone or alcohol (purchased separately).
Sand
8. Lightly sand the repair area using the 220 grit gel-coated sandpaper (provided). Repair area should be level with surrounding surface and smooth to the touch. Be careful to NOT
sand/scratch surrounding surface.
Polish
9. Open the polish envelope (provided) and apply to repair area. Using microfiber polisher cloth (provided), vigorously rub the paste on the repair area. Polish to desired finish.
